Job Description:

We are building our 2nd game, Ever Flame, the first all-in-one health game. We are looking for help navigating a game design that marries story, behavioral health mechanics, and gameplay for our game. As an animator, your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with the creative team to develop animation concepts, storyboards, and animatics
• Creating expressive, dynamic, and visually appealing 2D animations using Spine-based animation tools and software
• Applying animation principles to create engaging and believable character performances and action sequences
• Ensuring consistency and quality across all animation assets
• Participating in animation reviews and incorporating feedback
• Troubleshooting technical issues related to spline-based animation
• Staying current with industry trends and best practices in 2D animation
• Contributing to the overall creative process
• Meeting project deadlines and milestones

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in 2D animation, with a focus on spline-based techniques and software
• Proficiency in spline-based animation tools (e.g., Toon Boom Harmony, Moho, Adobe Animate)
• Exceptional animation and storytelling abilities
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• A diverse portfolio showcasing Spine-based 2D animation skills and styles
• Passion for animation and a desire to push the boundaries of the medium
