Job Description

Accolite Digital is seeking a Java Developer with 4-12 years of experience to join our team in Montreal, Canada. The key responsibilities of this role include implementing and designing components, participating in design and code reviews, and sharing knowledge with our global team. This role offers opportunities to expand technical knowledge with challenging projects and new technologies, learn about the Financial Industry, and contribute in an open and collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Passion for robust business focused application development
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to learn rapidly
• Experience with enterprise java technologies such as Spring, JUnit, Hibernate, Apache CXF
• Experience with transaction safe database processing (preferably Sybase or DB2)
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux
• Working knowledge of messaging and pub/sub communications
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good organization and coordination skills
• Highly motivated with the ability to proactively and independently identify and resolve issues and deliver solutions
• Team player

Desired Skills

• Experience with Test Driven Development and maintaining Continuous Integration systems
• Web development experience with HTML5, CSS, Angular
• Works well in a dynamic, fast paced environment
