About the role: We are in the process of redeveloping our website to enable us to deliver a better user experience and better represent our offices around the world. To date, content has been out of scope but we are now looking for an experienced copywriter to audit, review and where necessary rewrite our web site content to better reflect our brand and create consistency. The individual will need to be able to work well within the challenges of a multi-national, partner-led organisation and deliver high-quality, search-optimised marketing and sales copy. This role is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Writing and editing clear and compelling marketing and sales copy for the website, keeping within brand guidelines.
• Auditing existing content, including conducting an SEO analysis to identify gaps, performance issues and optimisation opportunities.
• Creating and managing a detailed work plan, including timelines for delivery and a list of required stakeholder inputs and approvals.
• Consulting various stakeholders, including senior firm leaders and department heads, to understand and manage their content objectives.
• Liaising with translation teams with respect to content required in multiple languages.
• Collaborating with global Business Development teams, from concept development to delivery of final product.

Requirements

Essential:

• Ability to navigate a large multi-national organisation and collaborate effectively with stakeholders spanning a range of departments globally, including senior executives.
• Excellent copywriting, editing, research and proofreading skills, with proven experience writing effective, benefits-driven sales copy in a B2B environment.
• Solid understanding of SEO principles, tactics and tools.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.

Desirable:

• Familiarity with the professional services industry, coupled with a general business aptitude, would be considered a strong asset. Experience of working in partnership-led organisations would be ideal.
• Experience working with style guides.
• Experience with content management systems, particularly Sitecore.
