Job Description

The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement. This includes creating and curating engaging content for social media platforms, managing social media accounts, and monitoring online conversations to maintain a positive brand image. The Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and stay up-to-date with social media trends and tools. Additionally, they will analyze social media data and generate reports to measure the success of campaigns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
• Proficient in content creation and copywriting for social media
• Familiarity with public relations principles and practices
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for graphic design
• Basic understanding of web design principles and HTML/CSS coding
• Knowledge of social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and digital marketing strategies

• Job Type: Part-time
• Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 3 – 5 per week
