Job Description

Vida Kids Therapy is actively seeking a passionate and experienced Social Media Marketer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our marketing efforts, you will play a crucial role in expanding our online presence and reaching a wider audience. We are looking for a reliable and dependable professional who excels in various platforms, including Canva, TikTok, Instagram, and website editing. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy, collaborating closely with the team at Vida Kids Therapy (VKT).
  • Manage and oversee social media content creation and editing for various platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies to ensure our strategy remains innovative and effective.
  • Ensure social media content is informative, appealing, and aligned with the best practices of our specific industry.
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement, providing suggestions for content optimization.
  • Update the website when needed to maintain alignment with the latest news in the art world.
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to build a strong network and enhance our brand presence.
  • Collaborate with the team, attending virtual meetings to strategize and ensure cohesive marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media marketing with a robust portfolio showcasing successful campaigns.
  • Proficiency in using Canva, TikTok, Instagram, and website editing tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in child development, pediatrics, or children in general, coupled with a passion for working with nonprofit organizations and making a difference in the community.
  • Strong understanding of current trends in social media and digital marketing.
  • Self-motivated with a growth mindset and a proactive approach to learning and implementing new techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of video editing and the ability to create appealing content.
  • Detail-oriented, entrepreneurial, and possessing a dynamic mindset.
  • Must have a personal computer for remote work.
  • Owns transportation for monthly filming sessions.

  • Location: Hybrid (90% Work From Home), 10% in LA location
  • Job Types: Part-time, Contract
  • Hourly Pay: $16
  • Expected hours: 7-12 per week
  • Work Location: Hybrid remote in Los Angeles, CA 90028. May be asked if possible to come film 1x a month
  • Benefits: Flexible schedule
  • Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday

Tasks

  • Weekly Meetings: Attend 1-2 virtual meetings (~1 hour) to strategize and collaborate with the team.
  • Sunday Blogs: (2 hours)
  • Create engaging blogs with the assistance of therapists.
  • Share the blog content on our website, driving traffic and engagement.
  • Reach out to other bloggers for potential contributions.
  • Design eye-catching cover images using Canva.
  • Share content on Facebook and Instagram, fostering a sense of community.
  • Include compelling calls-to-action to encourage interaction and feedback.
  • Yelp Management: Ensure our online presence on Yelp reflects our mission and values. Ad blogs onto yelp.
  • Client Surveys: Conduct biyearly surveys to gather valuable feedback from our current clients.
  • Instagram Posts: (5 hours)
  • Utilize Canva to craft visually appealing images.
  • Regularly post updates on Instagram, connecting with our community.
  • Maintain an aesthetically pleasing Instagram profile.
  • Website Maintenance/Design:
  • Ensure our website is up-to-date with relevant information.
  • Create aesthetically pleasing designs to enhance user experience.
  • Implement design improvements to align with our brand.
  • Content Creation:
  • Be available to film content approximately once a month.
  • Showcase the impactful work we do to create a deeper connection with our audience.
  • Video editing skills
  • Must have their own computer for remote work.
  • Own transportation is required for the monthly filming sessions.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor and track the progress of marketing efforts. Present findings during weekly meetings.
  • Marketing Emails: Develop and send out compelling marketing emails to engage our audience.
