Job Description:

The Line Producer is responsible for scheduling, budgeting and crewing a project ensuring delivery creatively, on budget and on time. The Line Producer will work closely with heads of departments to ensure the expected creative is delivered alongside budget and adjust schedules as required. They manage and will build very strong relationships with clients to instil the utmost confidence.

Requirements:

• Line Production experience or Production Manager with extensive experience in animation processes.
• Experienced leader within a dynamic and fast paced culture
• Excellent, proven organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage creative leaders while meeting the needs of the production
• Strong, confident communication skills
• Ability to interact with all levels of the company as well as external partners or guests
• Proven record of working well on a team and enjoys a collaborative work environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Shotgun software

Additional Information:

The ideal candidate for this position would be a Production Manager who has experience with high quality animated features or VFX projects.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for overall schedule and budget management.
• Provide regular weekly reporting to the Senior Producer.
• Ensure a process is in place for transparent and timely communication within the production team and to clients.
• Work with the Senior Producer to define and document production workflows in partnership with the client before production begins and adapt as necessary.
• Foster a collaborative environment that celebrates achievement and teamwork, as well as provide timely feedback and performance management if needed.
• Responsible for getting and keeping inventory flowing through the pipeline and hitting quotas.
• Partner with creative and production leadership to resolve productivity issues.
• Responsible for establishing dailies process that ensures effective communication to support client vision and alignment to schedule.
• Measure and assess productivity against the schedule and left to complete. Proactively provide solutions.
• Responsible for show organizational chart and hiring, training and onboarding crew.
• Responsible for freelance invoicing and holiday approvals for the team.
• Work with the Senior Producer to manage credits process and post mortem meetings.
