Job Description:

Our Long Island based studio is seeking a talented and creative Content Editor to join our team. As a Content Editor, you will play a crucial role in capturing and editing engaging video content, photos, and posts for our social media marketing efforts. This is a part-time position with full-time possibilities, primarily a weekend position, with the addition of a few weekdays in the office. The responsibilities of this role include:

• Attending events organized by our studios to film high-quality video footage capturing the essence and excitement of our graffiti art events.
• Editing video footage, photos, and posts into visually appealing content for social media platforms, both creative and informative.
• Utilizing video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools, to create professional-quality videos that align with our brand image and social media strategy.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and video editing techniques to continually enhance our social media presence.
• Maintaining a consistent posting schedule and optimizing content for all platforms.
• Analyzing social media performance rates to enhance marketing efforts.
• Engaging and interacting with event attendees and artists.

Requirements:

• Must live locally on Long Island
• Social media marketing experience
• Photography and videography skills
• Proven experience in video editing, preferably in a social media or marketing context
• Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
• Solid understanding of social media platforms and best practices for content optimization
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail
• Outgoing and personable
• Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules
• Ability to travel to and from our studios and to private events

Additional Information:

• This position requires traveling between Nassau and Suffolk to events organized by our studio.
• Pay starts from $20.00 per hour.
