Location: Toronto, ON, Canada

Contract: Part Time

Job Description:

We are seeking a permanent, part-time junior designer to work 20 hours per week. The designer will collaborate with the Design Director to create strategic design solutions that align with business objectives. They should possess creativity, discipline, and a passion for problem-solving. Attention to detail and a versatile skillset in print, digital, motion, and audio are required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Learning and understanding Ove processes
  • Immersion in clients’ businesses and industries through research
  • Applying knowledge of clients’ brands to work
  • Keeping up with industry advancements
  • Collaborating with assigned Design Director and/or Lead Designer
  • Developing creative execution and extending conceptual design
  • Coordinating and managing mockup production
  • Informing Production of project delivery requirements
  • Ensuring work follows quality control processes
  • Maintaining communication with the team
  • Conducting external research for audits
  • Working with suppliers to deliver solutions
  • Preparing specifications, soliciting quotations, and making recommendations
  • Sourcing and coordinating stock photography and audio

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Working knowledge of Premiere Pro, Figma, Sketch, InVision, and Procreate is helpful but not required
