Job Description:
GROW Inc is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a 6-7 month full-time contract position. As a Senior Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing server-side applications, APIs, and databases
- Optimizing database design and performance
- Integrating third-party APIs and services
- Implementing and conducting thorough testing of web applications
- Implementing security best practices and optimizing application performance
- Utilizing version control systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Staying up to date with the latest technologies and proposing improvements to the development process and architecture
Requirements:
- Strong experience in back-end development
- Proficiency in technologies such as node.js
- Experience with database management, including SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Ability to integrate third-party APIs and services
- Strong testing and quality assurance skills
- Knowledge of security best practices and performance optimization
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Passion for continuous learning and improvement
