Job Description:

The Enterprise Data Services (EDS) team works in a fast-paced data delivery environment, developing data deliveries to the Centralised Data Platform (CDP). The DevOps Data Engineer will:

• Review upcoming or current developments to identify and manage clashes
• Coordinate with different roles within EDS to address potential data clashes
• Review EDS roadmaps from a release perspective
• Work with project release managers for upcoming releases
• Report delivery roadmap to EDS leadership

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintain release roadmap to ensure no clashes and allow for the release process
• Maintain the CI/CD approach and ensure agile deliveries
• Provide required level of detail to each development role
• Create a roadmap report for EDS leadership and data platform line management
• Coordinate release activity across all EDS development squads
• Release deployments and produce relevant documentation

Skills and Experience:

• Maintaining release roadmap and working with CI/CD approach
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Data Platform systems
• Collaborative and able to work with multidisciplinary teams
