Job Description
This is a summer 2019 internship position. The role is responsible for designing, coding and modifying ETH websites, from layout to function and according to a client’s specifications. The intern should strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.
Requirements
- Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units
- Excellent skills in JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3
- Proficient in web programming and understanding of e-commerce
- Strong team player with excellent verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and web user interface design (UI)
- Familiarity with security principles and object-oriented design
- Experience in web services (REST/SOAP) and multimedia content development
- Ability to work with APIs
Additional Information
This position requires constant communication with colleagues. The job is part-time and only offers a stipend. The internship is scheduled for 8-hour shifts on weekdays, with weekends as needed.
Education
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience
- 1 year of experience in front-end development
- 1 year of experience in CSS
- 1 year of experience in Angular (Preferred)
