Job Description:

The Social Media Assistant will support the Social Media Manager in planning and executing BEAUTY BAY’s Organic Social channel strategies. This includes content creation, community management, and performance analysis. The assistant will be responsible for scheduling and posting on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. They will also collaborate with the Social team to develop content plans, create in-house content, and contribute to community management. Additionally, the assistant will work with the Social Media Assistant on BAU tasks and represent the Brand team as a brand guardian.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in a Social Media Assistant/Executive role
• Experience in content creation and social media reporting is advantageous
• Retail/E-commerce experience is highly desirable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in the Beauty/Cosmetics industries is advantageous
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Additional Information:

The assistant will collaborate with the Senior Exec and Manager on reporting and analytics, and will research and share opportunities and learnings from the social media industry to ensure BEAUTY BAY stays ahead of the trend curve. They will also collaborate with the wider Brand team on ideation and growing brand awareness.
