Job Description

The Videographer is responsible for preserving lasting memories for On Point competitors. They must be proficient in operating a video camera, specifically adjusting camera settings to capture footage in low-light conditions. They will manage the collection of video files and must be proficient in using PC and MAC laptops. Troubleshooting equipment and technological issues is a must. Livestream experience is a plus. Past dance convention/competition experience is beneficial. The Videographer will also be involved in setting up and breaking down each event.

Requirements

• Must have video camera experience
• Must have PC and MAC computer experience
• Reliability and attention to detail are a must
• Positive personality and well-groomed appearance
• Ability to work long hours in high-stress theatrical production environments
• Located within a reasonable driving distance of Hillsborough, NJ
• Physically able to lift/lower equipment
• Past dance convention/competition experience is helpful but not required

Other Information

• This is a part-time, seasonal, 1099 contract position
• Availability for specific dates, including Thursdays and Mondays, is required
• Driver’s license and own reliable transportation are necessary
• Weekly compensation is tiered based on the length of each event
• Event transportation, double-occupancy hotel accommodations, and on-site meals are provided
• All interviews will take place in Hillsborough, NJ
• Work location is on the road
