Job Description:

Media Agency looking for a Tableau developer based in Melbourne on an initial 3 months contract. The role is very likely to extend after the initial phase of the project. The role is to support the continued development of their reporting platform. This project will help the client understand business context and build dashboards around that business context, leveraging the Snowflake data warehouse. Awareness of dbt and Snowflake would be nice to have.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver new BI capability in Tableau, to support the development of new reporting capabilities.
• Nice to have: Work on data transformation and manipulation in dbt and Snowflake to support the above development.
• Identify opportunities to create new dashboards and visualisations.
• Create underlying data models for use in constructing tableau dashboards.
• Working collaboratively with product management, data engineers, and clients.

Requirements:

• Experience in Tableau development.
• Previous experience working with Snowflake.
• Awareness of dbt (Data Build Tool) would be a plus.
• Strong understanding of business context and ability to build dashboards based on it.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Contract Overview:

3 Months initial contract.

$600 - $650 a day (+ GST) or $600 - $650 a day Inc super.
