Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity, joining the dynamic and innovative New Products team, where you will be focusing on pushing boundaries and shaping the future of design across their portfolio. As a 3D Designer, you will play a key role in developing functional 3D models, from concept to production-ready assets, with a primary focus on Augmented Reality.

Responsibilities:

• Develop high and low-poly 3D models for props, accessories, clothes, and characters, adhering to technical and aesthetic guidelines.
• Optimize assets provided by partners and create graphics, including backgrounds and overlays.
• Utilize our custom AR platform to craft engaging AR filters.
• Collaborate closely with design and development teams to enhance user experiences.
• Resolve technical limitations creatively and efficiently.
• Foster a positive work environment by sharing knowledge and experiences.
• Ensure consistent quality, efficiency, and coherence in your work.
• Experiment and contribute to a fun and creative atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in 3D software such as Maya, Cinema 4D, or Blender.
• Skills in material authoring tools like Substance Designer or equivalent.
• Knowledge of visual design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Figma.
• Ability to create designs independently and follow given art direction.
• Familiarity with AR engines like Spark AR and Lens.
• Animation experience.
• Understanding of game engines like Unity 3D and Unreal Engine is advantageous.
• Your current portfolio of work must display a background in delivering quality 3D design, graphic design as well as AR or VR experience will be advantageous.

Other Information:

• This role is for 6 months, with an opportunity for extension.
• Operating INSIDE IR35, through an umbrella company.
• You will be working on a hybrid basis, 2 days in their offices in London and 3 days from home.
