Crowdlinker - UX/UI Designer (remote, open roster contract opportunity)

Job Description:

As a Product Designer, you will be involved in every aspect of the product development process, using your skills in UX design, product design, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping to produce innovative web and mobile products. You will work closely with other designers, developers, and a product lead to develop a wide range of products.

Responsibilities:

• Create, estimate, and manage design user stories
• Plan activities and deliverables such as business requirements gathering, user personas, journey maps, and design briefs
• Create site maps, wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to communicate design requirements
• Create necessary designs and documentation and conduct hand-offs to the engineering team
• Coordinate with the engineering team and conduct visual QA throughout development
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
• Work closely with engineers, designers, and product leads on the feasibility as they build and ship ideas
• Iterate ideas based on feedback from the whole team, clients, and users
• Talk with customers to understand user behavior and needs
• Design fine-grained details of interactions
• Take ownership of results when design work ships and initiate design and engineering sprints to improve shipped work
• Translate insights into ideas that will improve the client’s product offering
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience designing, building, and shipping digital products
• Diploma or degree in digital design, interaction design, or equivalent
• Expert proficiency in Figma
• Extensive experience with the discovery process and acquiring customer insights
• Experience with iterative design process in an agile environment
• Experience working as part of an end-to-end development team and collaborating with talented developers

• Experience coding in HTML, CSS, and familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, React
• Experience with building PLG (Product Led Growth) solutions
• Experience with copywriting
• Experience designing complex solutions for mobile applications
• Experience with developing branding guidelines and design systems
• Experience with estimating design efforts and managing design budgets
• QA experience

Please note that this is an open posting to be considered for future positions on a remote, contract, hourly basis. EST candidates or ability to work EST hours are preferred.
