Job Description
The Front End Engineer’s role is to develop user interface components and implement them using well-known Javascript frameworks like React. They will work closely with product, design, and development team members to understand business requirements and the desired user experience. The engineer will also be responsible for building highly responsive user interface components, developing automated tests and deployment processes, mentoring junior team members, providing Tier 3 production support, participating in architecture reviews, and demonstrating a commitment to Client core values. They should have expertise in all technologies used by the team and be able to use business knowledge to follow team technical decisions. The engineer should communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals at all levels and design and develop robust highly scalable client-side and server-side components with solid monitoring and alerting capabilities.
Requirements
- 3+ years overall of progressively responsible software development experience
- 2+ years hands on experience with Java, XML, CSS, HTML, and mainstream Javascript frameworks like Vue and React
- Strong Agile experience preferred
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
Additional Details
- Must have expertise in Javascript, Node JS, HTML, CSS, React with Hooks, and Typescript
- Ability to work with Git
- Orchestrating pipelines using Gitlab (CI/CD)
- Ability to work with APIs and familiarity with Unit testing
- Ability to collaborate with UI/UX designer and provide design feedback/suggestions
- Good communication skills and ability to work with product team to understand requirements and provide feedback
- Nice to have experience working with AWS Services (Lambda, EC2, ECS, ECR, S3 and RDS) and SQL skills
