Job Description:
As a Senior iOS Developer, your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing high-quality and scalable iOS applications
- Providing technical leadership and mentorship to the iOS development team
- Implementing rigorous development methodologies to ensure reliability and robustness
- Integrating and optimizing BLE technology within iOS applications
- Developing and maintaining robust communication protocols with BLE-enabled peripherals
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Optimizing and enhancing the performance of existing applications
- Staying updated on the latest iOS development trends, tools, and technologies
- Contributing to architectural and design decisions
- Working closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, software engineers, system engineers, and QA teams
- Communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Documenting code and creating test protocol and test report documentation
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- 8 to 10 years of expertise in iOS app development
- Strong portfolio of successful projects
- Experience in software development for safety-oriented regulated industries
- Proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, and iOS SDKs
- Experience with BLE integration
- Knowledge of FDA regulations in the context of software development for medical devices
- Experience in C++ programming
- Development of secure networking solutions for communication with Cloud Services
- Experience with version control systems and continuous integration
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with healthcare or medical device applications
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Previous startup experience
Additional Information:
Location: San Francisco, CA
Experience in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is a must.
