Job Description
Hogarth is seeking an experienced character animator to support the VFX team at Gramercy Park Studios. The animator will work on a small-scale Maya animation pipeline, utilizing Advanced Skeleton rigs or similar tools and incorporating mocap facial/lip-sync. The animator will be responsible for interpreting client animation briefs, adapting them to existing personalities of creatures, animating pre-rigged characters and props, lip-syncing to voice-overs, creating interactions between characters, and adding personality and comedy to creatures. The animator will also look for opportunities to optimize workflows.

Other Information
- The role reports to the Head of CGI and Motion at Gramercy Park Studios
- Essential software knowledge: Maya
- Essential skills: Character Animation, Excellent Timing, Natural Movement, Poise
- Desired skills: Mocap/Lip-sync onto characters (MocapX), Advanced Skeleton (or equivalent), Character Rigging basics, General, non-character animation, Knowledge of USD Pipeline would be an advantage, Shotgrid/Flow
