Job Description:
Betches Media is seeking a freelance video producer to create funny and engaging videos for the internet. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Video and other team members to brainstorm, film, and edit social video content across platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the Betches brand and voice, as well as a unique sense of humor that helps the brand stand out.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in producing, shooting, and editing videos for social media
- Comfortable appearing/acting in videos as needed
- Interest or background in comedy
- Ability to shoot and edit narrative sketches
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere (knowledge of After Effects and other Adobe apps is a plus)
- Understanding of basic lighting techniques
- Fluent in social media culture
- Past media experience is a plus
- Ability to travel locally, if needed
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Link to portfolio or reel must be included in the resume

- Freelance, temporary, part-time position
- Location: NYC office (hybrid work environment)
- Experience desired: 2-3 years
- Pay range: $20-$35 per hour / 10 hours per week
