Job Description

We’re looking for an Undergraduate Games 3D Animation Placement to join our team in Middlesbrough, UK. You’ll have the opportunity to work on multiple AAA titles and contribute to the creation of great games. With support, you’ll deliver 3D animations in line with the project’s technical and artistic direction. You’ll collaborate with other team members to establish and refine animations, and assist with optimization and debugging. You’ll also learn best practices, production pipelines, and workflows from experienced industry veterans.

Requirements

• Ability to deliver 3D animations that match the visual style of the game
• Experience implementing animation assets into game engine and iterating as appropriate
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work with other team members to achieve aesthetic goals and gameplay functionality
• Adherence to aesthetic and technical standards set by the Art leads
• Basic understanding of composition and visual storytelling
• Interest in video games

Additional Information

• Salary: £22,000 for a 2nd year university student
• Location: Middlesbrough, UK
• Industry placement: September 2024 - August 2025
• Relocation expenses: Up to £1300 (excluding personal expenses)

Selection Process
