Job Description:
Manifesta 15 is seeking a freelance videographer to document and tell the story of Manifesta 15 Barcelona. The videographer will be responsible for capturing footage of people, cities, venues, and events from February to December 2024. The role will involve creating short videos, including venue highlights, promotional campaigns, pre-biennial events, teaser videos, interviews, education program videos, and an after movie. The videographer will also document preview days and public program events across Barcelona and the 11 metropolitan cities hosting Manifesta 15.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a videographer in the cultural field, preferably art or architecture
- Technical skills in Dropbox, Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, and After Effects)
- Strong technical skills in creating videos, gifs, stories, and publications for social media
- Willingness to work irregular hours and ability to travel
- Sharp attention to detail
- Fluent in English
- Effective planning and organizational skills
- Ability to manage complex information flows and multiple projects simultaneously
- Working location: Barcelona and its metropolitan region (12 cities in total)
- Working period: mid-February to December 2024
- Occasional work on evenings and weekends required
- Must have own equipment (camera, lenses, accessories, tripods, software, etc.)
Other Information:
- Fee: 14.999 euros + VAT
- Professional must provide all necessary equipment, but renting gear may be considered for specific occasions
- Submission deadline for portfolios: February 20, 2024
- Interviews will be conducted by Belén Giménez, Communications Coordinator at Manifesta 15
- The selected professional will retain copyright of the images, and the assignment will be for an indefinite period and worldwide scope
