Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Front-end Developer for a two-month freelance role in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing the front-end aspects of our web applications, focusing on creating responsive, mobile-friendly, and user-centric interfaces. This role involves a mix of improving existing codebases and implementing new features to meet our project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.
• Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborating with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.
• Maintaining and enhancing existing web applications.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Front-end Technologies: Must have strong skills in Next.js and React frameworks, Node, and RESTful web services. Solid understanding and experience with HTML and SCSS.
• Extensive JavaScript Experience: Should have extensive experience with JavaScript and EcmaScript6.
• Responsive Design: Ability to create responsive and mobile-friendly user interfaces.
• Portfolio Requirement: Must have a work project or personal portfolio that showcases front-end development skills.
• Codebase Enhancement: Proficiency in enhancing existing codebase and implementing new features.
• Version Control Systems: Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Independent Development: Capable of working independently on development projects.
• Min. 2 days onsite working per week.

Preferred Qualifications:

• API Integration: Experience in integrating with RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Data Structures and Algorithms: Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Backend Experience: Having backend development experience is a plus, especially for website rebuild work.

• Job Type: Temporary
• Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
• Experience level: 3 years 4 years 5 years
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
