Job Description:
We are seeking a Java Senior Developer with at least 10 years of experience in designing and implementing Java backend applications. The responsibilities include driving the migration of a large java-based application from one infrastructure to another, with architectural changes in design. The role also involves managing and migrating large data sets in Casandra/Cosmos/Big query. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of accountability and ownership, self-discipline, and focus on high-quality deliverables. They should also have a team-oriented approach with a value for design thinking, efficiency, and innovation. Furthermore, the candidate should have a strong understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms. Experience with relational database management systems such as Azure SQL and NoSQL databases like Cassandra is required. Additionally, experience with REST API web services using Spring Boot Framework in Java and event-driven architectures using Kafka is preferred. Familiarity with Cloud Computing Services like Google GCP and Microsoft Azure is a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary, as the candidate may have to present to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years’ experience designing and implementing Java backend applications
Experience in driving a large java-based application migration from one infrastructure to another with architectural changes in design
Strong experience in managing/migrating large data sets in Casandra/Cosmos/Big query
A strong sense of accountability and ownership, self-discipline, and focus on high-quality deliverables
A team-oriented approach that values design thinking, efficiency, and innovation
A strong understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms
Experience working and designing/testing relational database management systems such as Azure SQL and NoSQL databases like Cassandra
Experience with REST API web services using Spring Boot Framework in Java
Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka and ensuring seamless integration with other systems
Experience with Cloud Computing Services such as Google GCP and Microsoft Azure (preferred)
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences
