Job Description
RJ Retail LLC is currently seeking a talented and experienced freelance photographer to join our team. As a photographer, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality and visually appealing photographs for various assignments and projects. This includes collaborating with clients to understand their vision and requirements, utilizing Adobe Creative Suite for post-production editing and retouching, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality and visually appealing photographs
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements
- Use Adobe Creative Suite for post-production editing and retouching
- Utilize color theory and composition techniques
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques
- Manage and organize digital files
- Collaborate with other team members
- Conduct photo shoots in various locations and environments
- Edit and deliver final images within agreed-upon timelines
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a freelance photographer or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Lightroom
- Strong knowledge of photography techniques
- Familiarity with post-production processes and photo editing software
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of sales techniques to promote photography services and secure new clients
- Experience in journalism or social media management is a plus
- Basic understanding of video production is an advantage
Additional Information
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Freelance
Pay: $34.47 - $41.56 per hour
Compensation package:
- 1099 contract
- Hourly pay
- Paid per project
Schedule:
- On call
- Rotating weekends
- Weekends only

- New Brunswick, NJ (Required)
