Job Description

REVOLT is looking for a highly skilled Senior Developer with expertise in front-end web development to help build and maintain our websites. You will work closely with our Product, Design and Editorial teams in a role that will span all aspects of the content authoring. You will have strong front-end technical skills and some exposure to backend programming and be willing to expand that knowledge. As a Sr. Developer at REVOLT, you will be a critical member of our technology team. You will take the lead on full website migrations, implement new features, and ensure the delivery of a seamless user experience across all digital platforms.

Requirements

  • To be considered for this position, you must have:
  • At least 5 years’ experience with front-end web development utilizing content management systems (AEM a plus) preferably in a content publishing environment.
  • Strong HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6), JSON, RESTful API experience, with a deep understanding of their semantics and best practices.
  • Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS for efficient styling.
  • Experience integrating analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics.
  • Experience with working on GitHub and Jira.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices including Google Core Vitals.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines to create inclusive web experiences for users with disabilities.
  • Familiarity with Java and backend technology including OSGi Components and Services.
  • Strong written/oral communication skills.
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience implementing AEM solutions.
  • 4+ years of experience in Java web development.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Develop front-end code in a timely and high-quality manner while leveraging site standards including site structure, page templates, navigation, and the site information architecture.
  • Lead full website migrations to Adobe Experience Manager Edge Delivery Services, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal downtime.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and stable web solutions that meet business needs.
  • Maintain a high level of proficiency with web development knowledge and contribute to the technical skills growth of other team members.
  • Participate in and adhere to professional software engineering practices using such tools and methodologies such as Agile Software Development, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Deployment, Source Code Management.
  • Troubleshoot issues when working with different web technologies.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for the systems and processes developed.
