Job Description

The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for gathering and evaluating user requirements, creating user stories and personas, determining information architecture, designing graphic user interface elements, building page navigation buttons, and developing UI mock-ups and prototypes. They will also be responsible for troubleshooting UX problems, conducting usability testing, adhering to style standards, and creating supporting artwork for Minimum Viable Products.

Requirements

• University degree in Human Computer Interaction, Information Science, Human Factors, Human Centered Design and Engineering, or related discipline OR 5 years’ experience as a UI/UX Designer
• Strong experience in the development of sketches, prototypes, high-fidelity mock-ups, motion design, and project documentation
• Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Miro, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Axure, or others
• Knowledge of Section 508 and W3C WCAG 2.0 guidelines
• Experience working with teams embracing Agile DevSecOps principles
• Strong skills with User Centered Design (UCD) methods
• Excellent management, communication, and presentation skills
• Experience collaborating with a team of programmers with varying skillsets
• Experience working in a rapid and interactive development environment
• UI Design, UX Design, User Experience Analyst, or Customer-Centered Design Certification
