Job Description

The Videographer is responsible for preserving lasting memories for On Point competitors. The candidate must be proficient in operating a video camera and adjusting camera settings in low-light conditions. They will manage the collection of video files and must have proficiency with PC and MAC laptops. Troubleshooting equipment and technological issues is also important. Past dance convention/competition experience is beneficial. The videographer must have physical stamina to endure long days standing while shooting and be able to set up and break down each event.

Requirements

• Must have video camera experience
• Must have PC and MAC computer experience
• Reliability and attention to detail is a must
• Positive personality and well-groomed appearance
• Ability to work long hours in high-stress theatrical production environments
• Located within a reasonable driving distance of Hillsborough, NJ
• Ability to lift/lower equipment for load-in/load-out and set-up/break down
• Past dance convention/competition experience is helpful
• Must be at least 18 years old and based in/near Central NJ
• Ability to travel the east coast from March through May
• Must have own reliable transportation

Additional Information

• This position is part-time and seasonal
• Contract position (1099)
• Compensation is up to $700.00 per week
• Event transportation, hotel accommodations, and on-site meals are provided
• All interviews will take place in Hillsborough, NJ
