Job Description:

As a Game Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the creative vision and design direction of our mobile games. Leveraging your extensive experience in game design and industry standards, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compelling and immersive gaming experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your 6+ years of hands-on game design experience to develop innovative game concepts and mechanics for mobile platforms.
  • Demonstrate expertise in communicating mobile game industry standards such as core loops, First-Time User Experience (FTUE), and “games as a service” model.
  • Generate a variety of design proposals based on creative directives, ensuring alignment with project goals and target audience preferences.
  • Create comprehensive design documentation that outlines game mechanics, systems, and economies to optimize player engagement, retention, and overall game performance.
  • Collaborate closely with UX, Art, Engineering, and Production teams to drive feature design from initial proposal through implementation, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.
  • Iterate on feedback from stakeholders and playtesting sessions to refine and enhance game mechanics and features, maintaining up-to-date design documentation throughout the development cycle.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6+ years of hands-on game design experience working at a professional game studio, with a proven track record of shipping successful mobile games.
  • Demonstrable expertise in game design principles, including core loops, FTUE, and “games as a service” model.
  • Strong creative and analytical skills, with the ability to translate high-level concepts into engaging gameplay experiences.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed design documentation and wireframes using industry-standard tools.
  • Passion for mobile gaming and a deep understanding of player preferences and trends in the mobile gaming market.
