Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Senior Digital Designer for the Design Center Communications team in our New York City office. You will help us tell the story of how PepsiCo Design & Innovation teams are solving real problems for real people in the real world through our award-winning work, design-led business integration, and thought leadership in the design and marketing communities. These stories are told across all the Design and Innovation Center’s owned social channels, website (design.pepsico.com), our annual design books, and cultural events.

In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality social, digital, and video assets for projects across PepsiCo Design Center Communications. You will act as a lead designer for work briefed into the team from across the global organization. Working with the Design Director, you will help lead key strategic projects, create design solutions, and liaise with brand designers, copywriters, and external agencies.

In addition, you will help lead new digital storytelling efforts on microsites, digital newsletters, and emerging technologies. This role helps support our goal to showcase our best-in-class creative work, the topics of innovation, diversity in design, sustainability, human-centered design, and best practices for integrating an in-house team within a corporation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in design with a minimum of 5+ years experience in a brand, agency, or publishing role
  • Passion for art, design, photography, video, and digital storytelling
  • Expert knowledge of all Adobe Creative Cloud software
  • Excellent typography skills across digital, web, and print design
  • Experience designing, capturing, and editing digital content for social
  • Video editing skills and light motion graphics capabilities
  • Experience designing for mobile and desktop websites
  • Knowledge of Figma and no-code platforms like Webflow and Framer
  • Experience with Drupal, WordPress, or other CMS platforms
  • Familiar with project management-related tools (i.e. Asana, Airtable, Monday.com)
  • Understanding of file formats, digital workflows, basic color correction and retouching
  • Strong presentation skills and confidence in front of senior-level internal team
  • Fluent in the latest design, social, and channel-specific trends, technologies, and industry best practices
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience leading projects and art directing photography and illustration
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a plus

Additional Information

  • Expected compensation range: $74,800 - $125,250
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement
