Job Description:

We are looking for a Java developer with the advanced skills needed to diagnose and fix issues affecting products for our Federal client. Responsibilities include identifying and implementing system improvements, using Agile life cycle development to build and repair health and financial applications, analyzing user needs and the environment, and modernizing and sustaining software platforms for healthcare facilities.

Requirements:

• 10 years of experience with Java software development
• 5 years of experience developing software for the U.S. Government
• 2 years of experience with software development in the Healthcare IT field
• Experience with WebLogic environments
• Knowledge of software development
• Ability to understand front-end users’ requirements
• Ability to communicate with front-end users to replicate their issues
• Ability to communicate clearly with the customer
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Certification in the Computer Science field

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with Cloud-based environments
• Experience with working in VistA environments
• Experience with VistALink and KAAJEE middleware
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks
• SAFe Certifications
