Job Description
The Data Engineer at 5/3rd is responsible for designing and building platforms, tools, and solutions to manage, secure, and generate value from the bank’s data. This role involves creating scalable solutions for gathering, storing, processing, and serving data on varying scales including Big Data. Responsibilities encompass working with various data platforms, ETL, business intelligence, analytics, data warehousing, and more.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Understanding of distributed computing principles
- Knowledge of application and data security concepts
- Experience with big data technologies, SQL, data warehousing, and Java preferred
