Job Description:
The Freelance Senior Data Analyst will work within the RWE department of a global clinical trial organization, conducting advanced analytics modeling on complex datasets. The role involves using R primarily, with SAS, Python, and SQL as additional tools when needed for data analysis. The Senior Data Analyst will implement various analyses to support epidemiological studies, working with retrospective and prospective data sources such as large health administrative databases and de novo data collections.
Requirements:
- PhD with 3 years of relevant experience or MSc with 5 years of work experience in Epidemiology, Health Economics, Biostatistics, or related fields.
- Expertise in quantitative methods in epidemiology, statistics, health economics, or health services research, with a focus on data analysis using R/R Studio.
- Proficiency in SAS or Python, with training provided for suitable candidates without prior experience.
- Experience working with large databases like claims, EMR, registry data, clinical trial datasets, MarketScan/Truven.
- Strong knowledge of scientific research methods, epidemiology, health economics, and statistics.
- Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
