Job Description

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles is seeking a Content Creator with experience in photography and videography to capture content at events and create engaging videos and images for social media platforms.

• Capture photos and video content at events, some of which may be on Saturdays
• Create engaging vertical videos for social media channels
• Create visually attractive carousel images for social media feeds
• Repurpose YouTube videos for IG, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
• Assist the social media team with posts and content

Requirements

• Photography and videography experience with an eye for engaging social media content
• Proficiency in social media channels: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn
• Knowledge of social media trends and challenges
• Experience with YouTube and Canva
• Access to reliable transportation, a valid CA driver’s license, and appropriate automobile liability insurance

Work Conditions

• Walking and standing for prolonged periods of time
• Occasional lifting and moving objects up to 50 lbs
• Frequent movement in office/warehouse/ReStore locations
• Moderate to loud noise levels depending on work area

Contract Details

• Hourly rate of $25 per hour
• Not to exceed 20 working hours a month
• Position is not benefit eligible
• Temporary position with the potential for permanent hire

Additional Information

This position involves on-site and hybrid work with most events in LA County or surrounding areas.

The Content Creator must have the equipment necessary to capture quality content and edit videos.
