Job Description:
You will edit video news stories, assist directors with newscast production, manage the newscast floor, studio and control room preparation, and operate the teleprompter. Additionally, you will support digital producers with web and social media tasks. You must adhere to high journalistic standards, work well under deadlines, possess strong video editing, writing, and grammar skills, and be able to adapt to changing news situations.
Requirements:
Basic computer skills are required. This entry-level position is ideal for high school or college students interested in broadcast journalism or production. The role entails 25 hours per week, typically scheduled from Monday to Friday, 4 pm to 9 pm.
