Job Description

Tree Ring Digital, a Denver-based digital marketing agency, is seeking a self-motivated WordPress Website Designer to design custom websites. The designer will collaborate with the development and project management team in creating engaging websites, from wireframing to building sites in WordPress. They will also assist in troubleshooting issues, responsive design, and providing support for marketing activities.

Requirements

• Ability to adhere to project hours, timelines, and accurately track time.
• Proactively identify client growth opportunities and communicate effectively with the business development team.
• Design engaging WordPress websites based on data and competitor research.
• Experience with front-end and back-end development, managing multiple websites, and various WordPress tools.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and various plugins and integrations.

Other Information

The position is a contract role with an hourly wage of $35-50/hour depending on experience, between 15-30 hours per week. The contractor can work from home with client communication via Zoom or phone. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5:30 pm MST, with flexible work timing to meet deadlines.
