Job Description

This temporary role will support the Men’s Bottoms team on all aspects of the product lifecycle from concept to final development with direction from the category’s leader.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the senior design team and assess the relationship of different categories season to season
  • Work on and partner with senior leaders on monthly presentations and field questions from the executive leadership team
  • Research current market trends seasonally and translate them into the design aesthetic and philosophy
  • Work with the technical department in all aspects of development and fit procedures
  • Partner with merchants to ensure customer needs and choice counts are covered each season
  • Establish full working knowledge of raw materials and work with CFT to source seasonal and new core fabrics
  • Partner with the production team to achieve the highest quality product within the cost structure needed
  • Research market trends domestically and internationally and evaluate trends
  • Collaborate with the Concept team to objectively evaluate the assortment and provide feedback on the entire collection
  • Other projects and responsibilities as assigned
  • Able to work in a hybrid environment, with some work performed remotely and essential in-person/in-office functions Monday-Thursday

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Art (or equivalent experience and education)
  • Experience working in Apparel, bottoms experience is a plus
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Keen eye for color, trend, detail, and construction
  • Able to multitask and prioritize based on business objectives
  • Working knowledge of Illustrator and PLM is crucial
  • Ability to act as a liaison between departments with excellent communication and analytic skills
  • Detail-oriented, computer literate, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Independent thinker
  • Great presentation and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment - in-office work as well as remote work from home

The role involves working in a hybrid environment where some tasks can be performed remotely, while essential functions need to be done in-person/in-office Monday-Thursday.
