Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Backend Focused Fullstack Engineer to join our dynamic team. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining our fraud and AML prevention platform built on Node.js and hosted on AWS. Responsibilities include working on scalable backend systems, RESTful APIs, and integrating with third-party services and databases.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development using Node.js
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js frameworks
• Experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge of database technologies and data modeling
• Familiarity with containerization technologies and container orchestration
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the finance, cybersecurity, or fraud prevention domains
• Familiarity with serverless architectures and event-driven computing
• Knowledge of data streaming and processing frameworks
• Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with GraphQL and its implementation in Node.js
