Job Description

As a Data Scientist, the successful candidate will conduct cutting-edge scientific research within Machine Learning, Biomedical Engineering, and Software Development. They will work on developing innovative diagnostic tools and advancing biomedical research. The role involves addressing clinical challenges in viral diagnostics and infertility management using a blend of various domains such as biology, medicine, technology, and artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct scientific research using data science methods.
  • Develop innovative solutions in healthcare with a focus on diagnostic tools and medical software.
  • Maintain documentation of research activities according to industry standards.
  • Identify and resolve technical and data-related challenges in projects.
  • Evaluate new technologies for potential application in healthcare.
  • Contribute to the development of medical technologies and applications.
  • Apply machine learning and AI techniques to enhance healthcare solutions.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team to meet research objectives and innovate healthcare solutions.
  • Disseminate research findings through publications, conferences, and public engagement.
  • Provide mentorship to junior team members and students engaged in research activities.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in machine learning, preferably in healthcare applications.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, MATLAB, and familiarity with machine learning frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
  • Published in scientific journals and presented at conferences.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with machine learning applications in healthcare.
  • Familiarity with software development and deployment tools.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and cloud computing platforms.
