Job Description

This position is suitable for individuals with the right skill set and work ethic. It may be a good fit for an active retiree. The job involves providing services to senior citizens and their families. Candidates must be drug-free and able to pass a background check. The role primarily involves hosting estate liquidation sales through online auctions on our auction platform.

Job responsibilities include:

• Sorting and organizing household contents for auctions in our warehouse or clients’ homes.
• Processing lots by photographing items for auction and writing detailed descriptions.
• Loading processed lots onto the online auction platform and proofreading lots.
• Staffing auction pick-ups in the warehouse or at clients’ homes.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must:

• Have basic knowledge of tools, mechanics, antiques, collectibles, and general household items and not be afraid to get dirty.
• Possess basic photography and computer skills.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and be able to maintain a production pace.
• Exhibit good English writing abilities.
• Have reliable transportation and be able to lift items.
• Be available for part-time work from home.

Other Information

On-the-job training is provided. The position is part-time with a pay range of $17.00 - $23.00 per year, not exceeding 25 hours per week. Benefits include a flexible schedule. The work schedule typically consists of 4-hour shifts during the day, Monday to Friday, with on-call availability and occasional weekend work as needed. Applicants must have a basic knowledge of antiques, tools, garage items, collectibles, and general household items.
