Job Description

Our client is seeking a Senior UX Researcher for a 6+ month contract in Irving, TX. This role involves diving into users’ worlds, spearheading essential research projects, and collaborating closely with our Digital product teams. The position will have an Onsite/Remote schedule.

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, HCI, or related fields.
  • 7 to 9 years of experience in B2B or B2C research, with at least 3 years in leading roles.
  • Ability to forge strong ties with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in articulating insights.
  • Fluency in various research tools.
  • Consulting experience with leading Research firms, focusing on retail digital products.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Research Roadmaps: Collaboratively create and manage research roadmaps across diverse product areas, staying aligned with user needs and business goals.
  • Diverse Research Techniques: Lead qualitative and quantitative studies using various UX research methods, particularly in remote settings.
  • Clear Communication: Distill complex findings into actionable insights for product teams and executives.
  • Statistical Proficiency: Understand statistical concepts and survey methodologies for validating findings and making informed decisions.
  • Service Design: Champion service design principles, lead workshops with cross-functional teams, and ensure cohesive and user-centric strategies.
  • Presenting Insights: Transform research data into visualizations to make it accessible and actionable for stakeholders.
  • Travel for Research: Travel up to 20% of the time to observe users in-store and prioritize safety while leveraging remote research.

Additional Information

Desired Skills & Experience: Master’s degree in psychology.

This role requires a mix of research expertise, statistical knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders and teams involved in product development. Travel may be necessary for in-person user observations.
