Job Description:

As a full-stack engineer on the Platform Engineering Team, you will be responsible for building a modern application platform to host the company’s suite of micro apps. You will primarily work on back-end development using NodeJS/TypeScript alongside technologies like AWS, NGINX, Lua, and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with architects and designers to solve complex problems and deliver the platform.

Requirements:

- Strong JavaScript experience, with a focus on building backend NodeJS microservices (TypeScript a plus)

- Familiarity with deploying web apps and microservices using Git & pipelines

- Willingness to learn new technologies like React, Kubernetes, AWS, or DevOps

- Self-motivated and team player with strong communication skills

- Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience

- Experience with AWS services, app servers like Nginx, computer networks, OSI stack, and unit testing

- Knowledge of databases and key/value stores, GraphQL, problem-solving, and ownership mentality

Other Information:

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $39.23 - $50.00 per hour
