Job Description
EM Voices is seeking a freelance sound engineer to operate their in-house studio on an ad hoc basis. The role involves working closely with radio stations, advertising agencies, studios, and production companies to record voiceover sessions as needed. The studio operates from 8.30am to 5.30pm, with sessions lasting 2 hours or longer. The ideal candidate should be punctual, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills. Passion for audio recording is a must.
Requirements
The successful candidate must be proficient in the following:
- ProTools
- Focusrite audio interface and preamp
- Source Connect
- Confident with Zoom/Teams@
- Nimble and confident with audio troubleshooting
- Sound knowledge of post-production including editing, processing, and mastering of audio software
The role may involve last-minute sessions, and the candidate should be flexible regarding their schedule. The position is in Bondi Junction and begins immediately. Location: Bondi Junction
