Job Description
EM Voices is seeking a freelance sound engineer to operate their in-house studio on an ad hoc basis. The role involves working closely with various clients in the radio, advertising, and production industries, recording voiceover sessions as needed. The ideal candidate should be punctual, detail-oriented, possess good communication skills, and have a passion for audio recording. Studio hours are from 8.30am to 5.30pm with session durations varying from 2 hours onwards.
Requirements
The successful candidate must have proficiency with ProTools, Focusrite audio interface and preamp, Source Connect, Zoom/Teams, and audio troubleshooting. They should also have sound knowledge of post-production tasks such as editing, processing, and mastering audio software. Flexibility in schedule is essential due to last-minute sessions, and the position is located in Bondi Junction.
