Job Description
The Walmart Community Mural Program celebrates communities across America through unique, original artworks in new or newly transformed facilities. Artists create compositions remotely in styles like contemporary, street art, illustration, landscape, and watercolor. Selected works will be enlarged and printed for installation in Walmart stores. Artists must meet tight deadlines, pay attention to detail, collaborate effectively, and have a strong portfolio showing a range of compositions.

1. Timeliness: Ability to meet tight deadlines
2. Detail-oriented: Understanding of scale and attention to detail
3. Communication: Responsive collaboration with the agency
4. Experience: Strong portfolio with client-based experience
Other Information
Compensation for mural projects is up to $1,000 per project. Inclusion in the directory does not guarantee a mural commission. Interested artists must be residents of the United States or Puerto Rico to be eligible. The work can be done remotely, and there is flexibility in choosing one’s own hours.
