Job Description
The Early Childhood Product Developer will collaborate with the Project Director to review, create, and design materials, modules, resources, and job aids for CPIN and CECO in state and national early childhood professional development. This role involves developing materials for various early care and education professionals and managing in-person and online professional learning resources.
Core Focus Areas:
- Developing and designing professional development materials.
- Creating online modules using standards for adult learners and instructional design for online learning.
- Following established style guides and development requirements.
- Aligning project materials with state and federal initiatives.
- Embedding strategies for children with special needs and dual language learners.
- Managing work to meet project timelines.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in child development, early childhood education, or related field.
- Teaching experience (Infant/toddler/preschool/TK/Kindergarten) or equivalent.
- Experience developing professional development courses and/or resources.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong command of oral and written language.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Ability to interact with diverse groups and clients.
- Skill in using computers and information technology.
