BVS - Lead Java Developer

Job Description:

Hands-on experience in Java 8 (and above), J2EE, Spring Framework, web services, microservices (REST). Should have good experience in NoSQL database or unit test/smoke testing. Experience with AWS and NoSQL DB. Proven hands-on experience in JavaScript, HTML/CSS. Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as React/Angular/JQuery. The role involves 4+ years of software development using Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services/SOA, and Java frameworks like Spring and Spring-boot REST. Advanced knowledge of the application is required.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting custom web-based applications.
• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Applying appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the software development life cycle.
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to continuous improvement of development processes.
• Collaborating with project teams on design specifications and system requirements.
• Designing and implementing new features as per specifications.
• Assisting the technical support team with advanced questions.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
