Job Description

Blend’s Platform Foundation Team is seeking engineers who are passionate about designing and building distributed systems for long-term scalability and maintainability. The team provides foundational components for Blend’s cloud banking platform, enabling other engineering teams to build business solutions and deliver end-to-end digital experiences. As part of the team, you will collaborate with feature development teams to understand their needs, design solutions, and contribute to creating a scalable and resilient ecosystem.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education background
• Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures and algorithms)
• Coding experience with major languages like TypeScript/JavaScript, Golang, Python, Java, C++, etc.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with other teams
• Ability and willingness to help others succeed and be productive

Bonus points for:

• Experience working with Go, TypeScript, Node.js
• Experience working with PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with migration from monolith to microservices
• Experience working on horizontal platform teams

Blend offers a competitive base pay range of $111,000 ~ $125,000 for this position. In addition, the company provides the following benefits and perks:
