Job Description
The Content Producer (Project Editor) will manage the development of resources for international schools worldwide, overseeing projects from manuscript stage to publication. They will collaborate with various stakeholders, including Product Managers, Rights and Permissions manager, and suppliers, ensuring content is delivered on time and meets quality guidelines.
- Manage projects through to publication within budget
- Create and manage content workflows and schedules
- Brief freelance editors and vendors
- Review manuscripts and provide feedback to authors
- Work with cross-functional teams
- Conduct quality assurance checks
- Track project costs and conduct editing and proofreading
- Develop an understanding of markets and learners’ needs
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a background in publishing, experience working with suppliers and freelancers, with hands-on editing and quality assurance skills. They should possess strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities.
Other Information
- Part-time role, 3 days a week until end of Feb 2025
- Hybrid role with the option for home working or office in Oxford or London
