Job Description:

• Lead communication efforts related to assigned features like runtime systems, physics/ragdoll, and facial animation R&D and implementation
• Ramp up on existing animation systems, tools, and pipelines for support and debugging
• Support and debug procedural animation systems such as facial animation, destruction, cloth, and hair
• Collaborate with design, character art, animation, and outsourcing teams for overall character fidelity

Requirements:

• 3+ years of technical animation experience
• Experience in rigging and skinning assets
• Proficient with standard industry tools such as Autodesk Maya
• Issue identification and quick resolution with strong decision-making skills
• Testing of own work with attention to detail
• Collaboration with multiple groups across departments
• Dependable and committed to tasks and projects
• Understanding of animation principles and anatomy

The position of Technical Animator is a temporary contract role at the company.

The Technical Animator will report to the Technical Art Director.
